BLOOD TIES

Blood Ties is a canadian TV series based on the "Blood Books" by Tanya Huff.

Vampire Henry Fitzroy, illegitimate son of Henry VIII, teams up with Vicky Nelson, who left the Toronto Police force to become a private investigator after beginning to lose her eyesight.

The mutual attraction between Vicky and Henry is complicated by Vicki's relationship with her former partner and lover, Mike Celluci.

I loved this series as soon as I began watching it.

Now why the heck did I watch this canadian series which wasn't on any of our available TV chains ...

Well, Kyle Schmid and Dylan Neal, who play Henry and Mike Celucci, were announced for RingCon 2010, and I felt like I had to know who they were before going there. Sort of homework to do ...

Tanya Huff was a guest at this convention too. I still have to read the books, which I sure will as I have to know how the story will end between Henry, Mike and Vicky.

I then had the huge chance to really meet them in Bonn in october 2010 ... both are fantastic.
